Sports marketing company, Stadia, has created a series of advertising packages allowing brands to dominate the forthcoming Six Nations Rugby Tournament.

Three packages, each containing five hand picked fixtures, will give advertisers exclusive access to seat back ads throughout the tournament, which takes place between 15 February and 30 March.

Each pack consists of 350,000 posters, two sampling opportunities, campaign research and hospitality at each event. The company claims that each pack will be seen by over a quarter of a million rugby fans.

Commenting on the initiative, Ben Caulfield, managing director of Stadia, said: "Every game will be absolutely ram packed - perfect for brands wanting to target an AB, sports mad, male audience."

Stadia, which launched last October to target sports fans at stadia across the country (see Stadia Targets Sports Fans With Seat-Back Ads), claims that the medium is an attractive option for advertisers, with seat-back ads enjoying over 95% brand recall.

In November Stadia secured mobile phone operator O2 as its first advertiser in a deal that saw 12,500 ads for the group placed on the back of seats at Arsenal's Highbury stadium (see Stadia Secures 02 As Launch Advertiser).
