Facebook is set to roll out Microsoft's Bing search engine to all of its users following a revised deal between the two companies.

The new deal means that all Facebook users will be able to access the Bing search function, which was previously only available to US Facebook users.

Other changes to the arrangement also mean that Microsoft will no longer sell display ads on the site, according to reports.

Facebook plans to take over from Microsoft in a bid to offer better targeted ads based on user profile information.

However, Microsoft will remain Facebook's exclusive search partner, as agreed in the first ad deal in 2007, when the company invested $240 million in to the social network.
