Appointments at News Corp and NI

Susan Panuccio will be transferring to News Corporation to work on the proposed restructure of the company from 1 October. Panuccio will be based in London and remain on the NI Group Board.

News Corporation has also announced the appointment of Paul Cheesbrough to chief technology officer. He will be responsible for setting News Corporation's global technology strategy, as well as co-ordinating with senior leaders across the organisation to develop new digital products.

Meanwhile, Chris Longcroft will become News International's new chief financial officer and David Dinsmore will replace him as director of operations.

Other changes at the publisher include Chris Taylor becoming interim chief information officer and Richard Caseby returning to the managing editor post.
