Maxus promotes Richard Lloyd to head of programmatic

Maxus has announced the promotion of Richard Lloyd to the newly-created role of worldwide head of programmatic.

Lloyd will work closely with Maxus clients and teams to operationalise the agency’s programmatic delivery, and will report to global chief strategy officer Damian Blackden.

"Richard’s appointment is designed to accelerate the work we do with our clients, making their advertising more precise and integrated within the communications mix," said Blackden.

"His knowledge and ability will ensure that Maxus’ proposition remains market leading."

Lloyd joined Maxus as chief digital officer EMEA in 2016 from Xaxis, where he was VP global product development.

He added: "With the media landscape changing more rapidly than ever before, it’s important to stay ahead of the curve on new skills and technologies.

"This new role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of media."
