The Mirror Group yesterday bought 2.4 million Scottish Television shares – bringing its total stake in the group back up to 19.93% – in line with Government’s ownership rules.
The Mirror Group’s stake fell to just over 16% last month when cable and satellite group Flextech transferred its 20% holding in HTV to STV, making it the biggest shareholder in STV.
