January To June ABCs – Football Sector

The Football magazine market has had a mixed first six months of 1996, with the majority of the older titles recording a drop in the circulation figures in comparison to their 1995 figures. The title that recorded biggest drop in number of copies and percentage change is IPC’s Soccerstars. It has fallen from a Jan-Jun 1995 average of 107,357 to 70,584 for Jan-Jun 1996, this is a change of 34.25%.

Haymarket’s FourFourTwo magazine is the title that has achieved the biggest increase in total circulation and percentage. It has risen from a Jan-Jun 95 figure of 66,563 to a Jan-Jun 96 total of 80,211, which is a percentage increase of 20.5.
