  • GE Magazines has shut down its two consumer titles Garden Inspirations and Inspirations for your Home, having seen significant falls in circulation for both titles during the last ABC audit. The special issue, which is bagged with two covermounted CDs, will be priced at £4.65 and goes on sale on 14 November, supported by retail promotions.
  • The Daily Telegraph’s new media supplement, Dotcom Telegraph, has fallen victim to falling ad revenue in the sector and will fold after this Thursday’s issue. Coverage of new media will be integrated into the main paper on Tuesdays.
  • Natmags has announced the closure of former G+J science title Focus, which it acquired last year. The December issue, which went on sale today, will be the last before content is merged into men’s title Esquire. Falling ad revenue in the difficult economic climate has been blamed.
