Espotting To Launch First Ever Radio Campaign

Pay-per-click search engine Espotting will this week launch its first ever radio advertising campaign targeting small and medium businesses.

The six-figure, direct response campaign will initially launch in London before going national in the next few months and is intended to raise awareness of the Espotting service. A series of 40-second radio ads, planned by AMS Media, will target small businesses, promoting the benefits of having their website registered with the Espotting search.

The company’s co-founder, Sebastian Bishop, said: “Espotting is an ideal way for small and medium businesses to generate sales leads and we feel that radio is an excellent vehicle to get our message across to this market. By being listed on our search, websites can get prominently listed on all the major search engines including Yahoo!, Ask Jeeves and Lycos.”

The Espotting service allows advertisers to bid against each other for prominence within the search listings. Companies only pay for the traffic they receive and the higher they bid the higher they are placed within the search listings.
