Dennis Launches New Computer Title

Dennis Publishing is extending its computer magazine portfolio with the launch of a new monthly title, Custom PC.

The magazine, which will launch at the end of August, is intended for PC enthusiasts looking to upgrade their systems and develop their computer hardware. The title will contain a variety of reviews and features on the latest technologies and tests of computer equipment.

The target is ABC1 males, with an average age of 27 and a passion for endlessly consuming computer gadgets and hardware.

Commenting on the new launch, Pete Wootton, publisher of the title, said: “The decision to launch Custom PC is based on the dramatic increase in the number of technically advanced PC enthusiasts and the corresponding growth in component and hardware sales. Custom PC will deliver a new highly-targeted and responsive audience to technology advertisers.”

He added: “Dennis Publishing has a long history of producing market-leading computer magazines and Custom PC further demonstrates our commitment to this sector.”

Dennis Publishing recently announced the appointment of Michael Hodges as editor of its flagship men’s lifestyle magazine, Jack, following the acquisition of I Feel Good Publishing (see New Acquisition Makes Dennis Feel Good).
