Panel line-up complete for Connected Consumer

The panel line-up for this week’s Connected Consumer event is now complete and features a number of key players who are perfectly positioned to debate the issues that are currently facing this fast-moving market.

YouTube’s Anna Bateson and Joule’s Tamsin Hussey will join Samsung’s Dan Saunders and Michael Bayler, among others, in the first session of the day – How do you reach the connected consumer?

ITV’s Steve Bignell and Freesat’s Emma Scott will discuss business models and platforms in the second session of the day alongside BT Vision’s Damien Read. Meanwhile, Channel 4’s Jonathan Allan and his fellow panellists, including Starcom MediaVest’s Steve Smith, will focus on content: finding it, distributing it and sharing it in the third session.

And in the fourth and final session of day two at Merrill Lynch, Manning Gottlieb OMD’s Jean-Paul Edwards, Facebook’s Alex North, BARB’s Bjarne Theling and BSkyB’s Jamie West will join Rhys McLachlan of Videology and Andy Littledale of SecondSync to debate metrics in the current connected environment.

Monday is set to be a packed day, full of interesting debate around content, discovery, technology, the role of existing and new broadcasters and platforms, second screens, the CE businesses, VOD, research and data.

This follows the first day of the event, which is based at iBurbia on Friday. Delegates will have the opportunity to see and test all the latest devices, platforms and technology, including Freesat’s new Freetime box, the new YouView boxes (all three versions), Apple TV, Google TV, the latest Samsung Smart TV, Virgin Media’s TiVo box, Xbox 360 and much more.

The final few tickets for the event are available here.
