Cyclist magazine expands reach with new UK website

Dennis Publishing’s Cyclist magazine has launched a new website – www.cyclist.co.uk – offering readers a multi-platform experience across print, online and through its dedicated app.

Dennis Publishing said the website goes beyond a digital rendition of the print magazine and includes news, reviews and insight from the world of road cycling.

Content on the website is drawn from both Cyclist and BikesEtc as well as having original content generated by a dedicated online team.

“Cyclist has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2012,” said Nicola Bates, publisher of Cyclist and BikesEtc.

“Cycling as a sport has been booming in recent years, and we identified a gap in the market for in-depth articles, beautiful imagery and reviews. Cyclist is a premium brand and uses exclusive photography, working with the best photographers out there – something that resonates with readers and advertisers alike.”

With a cover price of £5, Cyclist has a monthly circulation of almost 26,000, of which around 2,500 currently access via the app, and last week won Specialist Consumer Magazine 2015 at the annual PPA Awards.
