Tracy De Groose to leave Dentsu Aegis UK

Dentsu Aegis Network has confirmed that Tracy De Groose is stepping down as UK and Ireland CEO after four years in the role.

“After eight wonderful years at Dentsu Aegis, I have decided that now is the right time to step down,” De Groose said.

“I have loved every moment of working with this incredibly talented team of people and I am extremely proud of everything that we have achieved. Together we have transformed this business, nearly doubled its revenue, and welcomed new agencies and colleagues into the family.

“I’d like to thank all the team at Dentsu Aegis for their support, energy and dedication to our clients over the last four years; I am confident they will continue to grow and succeed under new leadership and wish them well.”

De Groose joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2009 where she served as UK CEO for Carat, before being promoted to UK&I CEO in 2014.

She leaves the UK and Ireland business 4,500 people strong, serving over 800 clients across 23 media, technology, data and creative agencies.

Giulio Malegori, CEO, Dents Aegis Network EMEA, said: “Tracy has been a great asset for our UK business which has been growing both organically and via strategic and relevant acquisitions. More importantly Tracy has built a very strong leadership team in the UK.

“I would like to thank Tracy for her valuable contributions and delivery during her years at Dentsu Aegis Network and I wish her all the best for the future.”

Dentsu said a long term successor will be announced shortly.
