In the same week that it added Capital One to its fast-growing roster, the7stars, the UK’s largest independent media agency, has now won the UK and Ireland media planning and buying account for Deliveroo, worth £10 million.

The British food delivery company, which is headquartered in London, has grown rapidly since coming to life in 2013 and now operates in over 100 cities across the UK and Ireland and is rapidly expanding its global footprint.

After making its TV debut in March with the help of media agency MediaCom and creative agency Fallon, the company went on to launch an ambitious multi-channel campaign in the summer that involved running 46,000 different audio ads on Spotify and Global’s digital audio ad exchange, DAX.

“Deliveroo is a dynamic and growing company that has quickly embedded itself as part of the UK food scene,” said Nick Maddison, managing partner, the7stars.

“We are delighted they have chosen to work with the7stars and we look forward to working with them to deliver the company’s next phase of growth.”

Emily Kraftman, head of marketing, UK & Ireland at ‎Deliveroo, said: “We felt their strategy to be compelling and felt that the7stars’ values and ways of working fit very well with how we work at Deliveroo.

“We’re really excited to work together and confident we are going to deliver some amazing campaigns together.”
