December 19 makes two senior hires

December 19 has made two senior appointments this week as the independent media agency looks to grow its business.

Katy Clarkson takes on the new role of head of planning, joining from AI specialists Blackwood Seven where she was head of client services. She previously worked for Maxus as client director.

Meanwhile, Martin Donnelly will join the team in the new role of head of non-broadcast – running publishing, digital display, OOH and cinema. He joins from UM, where he has held different roles over his 18 years within the business. His last position was head of publishing.

Clarkson and Donnelly will both report into December 19 founders Dan Pimm and Dave Barnett, who set up the business in 2010.

“We are delighted to welcome Katy and Martin on-board in a key time for our business. We are looking to drive growth and know their experience will contribute to the ongoing success of December 19,” said Pimm.

December 19’s clients include Viking Cruises, Columbus Direct, Mahabis, Smallbone of Devizes, ecco and David Morris.
