Fetch announces new UK CEO

Mobile-first agency Fetch today announced the appointment of Patrick Affleck as UK CEO.

Affleck replaces Jo Sutherland who joined Carat as UK CEO in April and will report to Matthew Platts, CEO of Media Brands, Dentsu Aegis Network.

He will be responsible for furthering Fetch’s goal to attract digital economy brands whilst leading a team of 100 experts across digital and mobile media, creative and analytics.

Affleck has worked within the media industry for over 18 years, having most recently served as president for Vizeum USA and managing director, media for 360i New York.

In this position, he was responsible for setting the overall product vision and direction for the 360i media operation, and played a role in landing new business wins for the agency including Sonos and Plated.

Affleck also helped launch Vizeum’s Circuit, a global planning process, as well as Spark, a collaborative program with start-ups designed to solve client business challenges.

“Patrick’s experience and recent success has seen him become well-recognised across our network as one of our most creative and entrepreneurial thinkers,” said Platts.

“His passion for exploring new ways to build more exciting connections between brands and their consumers has resulted in some of our most awarded digital work for clients such as AB InBev and Burberry. I’m confident that he will take Fetch from strength to strength.”
