Havas means business with hires of Johnson and Hooker

Omnicom’s Lucinda Johnson and AMV BBDO’s Will Hooker will be joining Havas as new business directors, tasked with leading the group’s new business strategy across its media and creative agencies, respectively.

Johnson (pictured right) has 17 years’ industry experience, and joins from her position as marketing and new business director at Omnicom Media Group UK.

She has previously held positions at companies including Starcom, MediaCom, Rocket and Weve, and in her new role will report into both Matt Adams, CEO UK & Ireland of Havas Group Media, and Tracey Barber, global CMO at Havas Creative Group.

Meanwhile, Hooker (pictured left) joins from AMV BBDO where he has served as senior new business account director since 2018. He joined the creative agency three years prior as an account director working across accounts including Camelot, The Economist and Pepsi, and prior to this spent two years at Saatchi and Saatchi.

In his new position, Hooker will report into Barber only.

“I’m very pleased to welcome Lucinda and Will to the business,” Barber said.

“Both bring a huge wealth of knowledge, rooted in their experiences at some really strong agencies, as well as a clear ability to apply pitch best practice at a broader Havas Village level.”
