JCDecaux takes LDN Drive national

As part of commitments to invest in digital out of home across the UK, JCDecaux is expanding LDN Drive – the large format digital channel – outside the capital for the first time.

The National Drive network will consist of 20 large format screens installed on key arterial routes in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield.

According to JCDecaux, National Drive will deliver six million viewed impressions every fortnight, on screens that are 20% larger than market average. [advert position=”left”]

The network is set to launch in the first quarter of 2020.

“Since LDN Drive launched in London in January, it has become a key branding channel for clients in the capital with powerful campaigns across categories from entertainment to motors to telecoms,” said Mark Bucknell, chief commercial officer.

“With National Drive, there is now a new opportunity to deliver brand fame and reach on a national scale for our clients, with a new brand-safe digital channel that reaches audiences in the economic powerhouse cities of the UK.”

JCDecaux launched LDN Drive in January, after announcing the initiative in July last year. The network currently consists of 89 screens across the capital.
