Dentsu’s Ivor Falvey moves to Wilbury Stratton

Ivor Falvey, formerly global talent planning director at ad network Dentsu Aegis, has joined talent research firm Wilbury Stratton as a director and the global head of media and entertainment practice.

Falvey leaves Dentsu after four years in the role. He has 25 years’ experience in the media and marketing industry overall, having previously held senior positions at companies including Haymarket, The Festival of Media and The Lighthouse Company.

On top of leading Wilbury Stratton’s global media and entertainment practice, Falvey’s new role will see him direct the business’ London office as it expands.

The firm also has offices in Brighton, Kuala Lumpur and New York.

“It’s been four amazing years crafting and executing the Talent Planning strategy for one of the biggest marketing communications networks in the world, but the time feels right to take that learning outside of DAN and to practice my own skills in talent planning and development across the wider media and marketing communications industry,” Falvey said.

“As the media & entertainment sector continues to grow and expand its global talent footprint, talent intelligence will become even more business critical.

“This is what Wilbury Stratton does best. They have a strong pedigree and a reputation for working with great companies like Shell, HSBC, IBM and Diageo”.
