Matt Adams departs Havas Media Group

The CEO for UK and Ireland at Havas Media Group is to quit to start a new role with digital agency Brainlabs.

Matt Adams, who has spent three years with Havas, will take up the position of global managing director.

Havas is currently undertaking a search for a replacement for Adams. During this time, the business will be led by the Havas Media Group UK leadership team alongside Havas Group UK CEO, Chris Hirst.

“I’d like to thank Matt for his outstanding leadership of the UK and Ireland media business over the last three years,” said Peter Mears, global CEO, Havas Media Group.

“His challenger attitude and constant drive for improvement have helped transform the agency, and I’m confident that with the fantastic leadership team we now have in place, we will continue our upward trajectory.”

During Adams’ tenure, Havas Media Group took on clients including Homebase, Starbucks and Dreams.

Founded in 2012, Brainlabs has around 250 staff with offices in London, New York, Austin and LA.
