AKQA’s Jinny Mitchell-Kent joins Great State

Indy agency Great State has appointed Jinny Mitchell-Kent as its first chief operating officer, strengthening the agency’s management team.

She brings a decade of global agency experience, most recently as head of delivery at digital agency AKQA, where she led a team over 35 strong with responsibility for all delivery and operations.

At Great State, Mitchell-Kent will take charge of scaling, integrating and optimising processes within the business and building cohesion between its offices in London and Bristol.

“It’s refreshing to see an independent agency thriving in an increasingly competitive and network-dominated industry,” Mitchell-Kent said.

“We share a commitment to have a positive impact on the world, however small, delivering value for clients through new technologies, agile methodologies and innovative ideas. I’m excited to be part of building their future vision.”

She joins the agency with immediate effect, reporting into managing director Neil Collard, who added: “Jinny will play a crucial role in helping us to create new pioneering experiences and highly secure, robust products that customers can rely on every day.”

Great State works with clients including Honda Europe, the Royal Navy and INEOS Automotive.
