Leadership change at MTM as founder Jon Watts steps back

Research and strategy consultancy MTM has announced that managing partner and co-founder Jon Watts will be stepping back from everyday involvement in the company.

Watts will be moving to New York and transitioning into a senior advisor role at MTM, leading a selection of the consultancy’s projects alongside pursuing other ventures.

As part of a wider restructure, Caroline Wren – formerly managing partner and one of four co-founders – has been promoted to managing director to lead the business.

Wren has over 20 years’ experience in media and advertising research. Prior to MTM’s launch in 2010, she held senior research roles at companies including Optimisa Research Limited and Quaestor.

“MTM’s unique proposition of hybrid research and strategy consultancy feels stronger than ever, as we help our clients to stay ahead of their competition in the new decade,” Wren said.

Meanwhile, managing partners James Bryson and Richard Ellis will lead and deliver business across the research and commercial strategy consultancy teams, respectively.
