Mediatel launches free digital events platform
To limit disruption for the thousands of ticket-holders to its global conferences, Mediatel has this week announced the launch of a digital events platform as the world adjusts to the coronavirus crisis.
The business is adapting its live events as online experiences, allowing delegates to practice social distancing without having to miss out on great content.
All events will be free to access - with anyone wishing to take part able to do so by signing up here - and will be delivered every two weeks.
Just like the live events, the themes focus on the future of media and advertising - from gaming to out-of-home, or publishing to TV - and will deliver a non-stop 14-day digital experience.
Starting in April, content will come to life across Videonet and Mediatel News through a series of in-depth features, exclusive interviews, downloadable reports and unrivalled opinion pieces from industry leaders - with streamed events powered by Mediatel Events sitting at the very heart of it all.
“Despite the unfortunate circumstances we find ourselves in right now, our audience and clients still regard our event content and editorial output as something which is incredibly important and key to relaying their messages and thought leadership to the market," said Steve Scaffardi, head of events at Mediatel.
"For a long time we have been thinking of creating a digital schedule of content like this, so this has simply accelerated that plan.
“We’re excited to be able to deliver these two-week content blocks where we’re able to still educate and inform the market as we all try and adjust and go about business as usual. What it has opened the door to is new markets, new audiences and the opportunity to launch our brilliant content to international audiences too.”
