Alex Maddox exits Telmar

After four decades at the company, Alex Maddox has left media research firm Telmar in order to set up an independent consultancy.

Maddox, one of the UK’s top media research client service professionals, joined Telmar in the 80s and helped innovate, develop and train on the firm’s crosstab, statistical and media planning software.

She worked closely with all aspects of the industry, data suppliers and users, in order to “maximise the value” that clients get out of their many data sets.

More recently, as managing director and global client services director, Maddox helped with strategies that ensured Telmar’s successful growth over the past 20 years.

“I really enjoyed my time at Telmar. I have made some great friends, from within the company and with clients and suppliers within our industry,” Maddox said. “The work has been challenging, rewarding and lots of fun.”

She added: “my passion has always been client service and helping clients with their media planning and strategic targeting. I hope that by moving to the user side I can use my experience to help people achieve great insights through creative analysis and clever use of industry data and software.”
