Ebiquity creates leadership role for Schreurs

Ebiquity has promoted Ruben Schreurs to the newly-created role of group chief product officer.

The appointment forms part of a company restructure to support the strategic vision of new CEO Nick Waters.

It follows the recruitment earlier this month of former Dentsu Aegis CMO, Cormac Loughran to the newly-created role of new business and marketing director, plus the departure last week of Christian Polman, chief strategy officer.

A key part of Schreurs’ role will be developing and launching new products and services for clients looking to increase media effectiveness in a digital media ecosystem that is ever more complex with a myriad of challenges from ad fraud through to viewability, brand safety, and attribution.

Ebiquity Group CEO, Waters said: “In a few short months, Ruben has impressed with his energy, drive, ideas, and entrepreneurialism. Ebiquity has a tremendous track record of creating value for brand owners, and we see great opportunities to deliver even more impact for our clients’ businesses in the complex digital media environment. He has the excellent trait of simplifying the complex, and I look forward to working with him.”

On his appointment, Schreurs, said: “Joining Ebiquity earlier this year was a stellar decision, as our combined businesses have proven to be a power-house formula. Stepping into a group leadership role and working closely with Nick and the wider Senior Leadership team is an exciting leap forward.”

Loughran meanwhile added: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Nick and the team at this time of rapid and seismic industry change. Ebiquity is uniquely placed at the intersection of date and technology to unlock transformative value for clients.”

On bringing Loughran into the company, Waters concluded: “His arrival will help focus our growth and marketing agenda.”
