Ex-Sky media strategy chief Barry Louth joins influencer marketing agency The Fifth

News UK’s creative influencer marketing agency The Fifth has hired Barry Louth, the former director of media strategy at Sky, as client growth director.

Louth starts the role immediately after leaving Sky in the Summer and will report into commercial director Sam Coleman.

His main tasks will be related to new business and revenue projects while developing the agency’s relationships with current clients and the influencer marketing community.

Louth has 20 years’ experience in media strategy and innovation, including 10 years at Sky where he was their director of media, strategy, innovation and investment.

Prior to that he was a media strategist at BT and was co-chair of ISBA’s leadership group co-chair.

News UK launched the fifth in 2019 as an independent full-service influencer marketing agency.

Founded and headed by Oliver Lewis, formerly News UK’s director of digital strategy and partnerships, its clients include Disney, Kendo Group, Facebook and YouTube.
