Advertising companies can be made ‘inclusion champions’ next year

UK advertising companies will be awarded “All In Champion” status next summer if they can demonstrate they have made concrete steps towards completing the All In Action Plans.

The All In Action Plan is part of the industry’s push towards a more inclusive workforce spearheaded by the Advertising Association, the IPA and ISBA.

It currently has three actions developed by the Advertising Association’s Inclusion Working Group with groups such as MEFA (Media for All), WACL, Bloom, Outvertising, NABS and the Marketing Society’s 40 Over Forty.

These are to improve representation and experience of Black, disabled and working class talent.

Alongside this, the Advertising Association has also created free-to-attend sessions to help companies complete each action point and the All In Hub where resources and over 100 initiatives for employers to promote inclusivity can be found.

This builds on work done for the All In Census in march 2020, the initiative from the Advertising Association, the IPA and ISBA to build an inclusive workplace in UK advertising which surveyed 16,000 people across the industry.
