Agencies name Mail Metro Media as best media owner partner

Agencies have named Mail Metro Media as the best media owner to work with in the a survey conducted by the IPA.

The Digital Media Owners Autumn 2021 Survey shows 84.4% of respondents agreeing that the overall experience of working with Mail Metro was a good one.

Mail Metro Media was followed by Teads (82.4%), Captify (82.2%) and Pinterest (81.0%).

Among individual categories, Mail Metro Media led overall and among Crossover Media Owners, while video ads platform Teads topped Ad Networks/Exchanges, DSP and Sales Houses, and picture-sharing app Pinterest led Online Pure Plays.

MiQ, the programmatic specialist, led in five different survey categories, including quality of response to brief; understanding of own products; provision of innovative and creative solutions; ease of contact; and agency / media owner partnership.

Meanwhile, Dennis Publishing led in respect of dispute resolution, communication of new opportunities and regularity of contact.

Quantcast topped understanding of client objectives and strategies; Pinterest led communication of direct contact with clients, while Global was identified as the best crossover media owner in respect of exploitation of cross-media opportunities.

Amy Lawrence, digital director at MediaCom and chair of the IPA Digital Marketing Group, said: “It is encouraging to see that despite all the disruption of the last two years that standards among digital media owners remain as high as ever across the board.”

The IPA Digital Media Owner Survey is released twice a year, in spring and autumn. For each survey a panel of planners, strategists, buyers and digital specialists rate only those media owners they have a working relationship with against a set of attributes on a seven-point scale from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree”.
