News UK has appointed Claire Dracott as director of a new technology Innovation team.
Dracott’s newly-created role will focus on developing new opportunities through innovative technologies for News UK and its brands, including The Sun, The Times, The Sunday Times, TalkTV, talkSPORT, Virgin Radio UK and Times Radio.
She will oversee a cross-functional team and report into News UK’s EVP, chief technology officer Simon Farnsworth.
Dracott joined News UK 11 years ago as a graduate trainee and for the last five years has been head of user experience and design.
