MediaMath appoints new EMEA commercial lead

Ad tech company MediaMath has announced the appointment of Richard Beattie as senior vice president commercial, EMEA.

Beattie joins MediaMath from software company Oracle, where he was responsible for developing the marketing and social business lines in EMEA.

Prior to this, Beattie was vice president and general manager, EMEA, at Vitrue, the social platform later acquired by Oracle.

"We are delighted to welcome Richard to MediaMath," said Dave Reed, managing director, EMEA, MediaMath.

"His wealth of experience gained from building business and technology solutions for ecommerce companies, coupled with his extensive knowledge of the mobile and social landscapes, will be invaluable to our team.

"At a time of significant growth for MediaMath, Richard will enhance our commercial and client-facing operations to help our clients effectively seize the massive advantages of programmatic media buying."
