Consumer ABCs: January-June 2016: TV Listings
We're pretty sure some people will take this as a sign that television is dying, but the entire TV listings market recorded declines - both period on period and year on year - in the latest ABC release.
Although most titles still boast extremely healthy circulations, not one title witnessed any growth - in part, perhaps, due to the absence of Christmas TV viewing. But still.
At the bottom end of the rankings, All About Soap, Soaplife and Inside Soap all took a thrashing, down -14%, 12.4% and 10.4%, respectively, in the January - June 2016 period.
Meanwhile, the top ranked mags, led by Bauer's TV Choice, saw less severe declines, but drops nonetheless.
TV Choice - with a solid circulation of 1.23 million - was down -2.9% PoP, while What's on TV was down -5.2% to 945,300.
The Radio Times was down almost -9% to 668,500, and TV Times was down a worrying -10.5% to 197,200.
