Euan Jarvie named CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland

Dentsu Aegis Network has announced that its president of global clients has been appointed as its new CEO, UK & Ireland with immediate effect.

Euan Jarvie, who has experience running large-scale media businesses around the world, will head the UK and Ireland leadership team and run a business with more than 4,000 staff serving over 1,000 clients across 22 media, technology, data and creative agencies.

“I’m looking forward to working with Euan to drive a renewed focus and energy across the UK&I network," said Nick Waters, executive chairman, Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland, who was previously leading the business.

"He is an experienced, considered media professional with strong client relationships. We are fully focused on maximising the significant talent and expertise we have for the benefit of our clients and I am confident that together we will take the business forward to deliver great success."

Prior to Dentsu Aegis, Euan worked at MediaCom for over 18 years, most recently running its operations across the US and then EMEA, and he has experience working with some of the world’s biggest global brands.

“I am delighted to return to a UK centric role and thrilled to be leading Dentsu Aegis in the UK & Ireland," said Jarvie.

"The experience I have gained running clients and businesses all over the world has set me up well to lead the wonderful team here. Together we will deliver even more dynamic and innovative solutions to build our clients’ brands in the 21st century.

“Success for me is grounded in a culture of trust and bravery where everyone understands how their contribution is helping deliver growth for our clients. I believe it is the most exciting time ever in the industry with many organisations looking to transform and find new growth.

"Our UK&I business is already well down the path of its own transformation and I’m thrilled to be part of it."
