Maria Cadbury joins Channel Factory as UK MD
YouTube ad tech partner Channel Factory has hired Maria Cadbury to lead the business in the UK as managing director.
Cadbury has 17 years' experience in the digital industry, having recently held senior positions at influencer agencies including The Studio.LDN and Evolve Media, LLC. She also founded We Are Spring, a creative and technology influencer marketing company.
“Channel Factory has 5+ years and are more than 10 billion views strong and this accumulated data will be key to our success in building brand safe, suitable and performance-maximized campaigns across the UK and Europe," Cadbury said.
"I am truly excited to be joining the team to increase the support for the UK clients of this exceptional company; as well as ensuring exposure of the opportunities offering to our clients."
Meanwhile, Robert Bjork, Tomasz Teodorczyk and Julia Smith have been appointed to the European leadership team, as Nordics sales director, country manager - Poland, and PR director, respectively.
Commenting on the news, Mattias Spetz, managing director, EU, added that the appointments demonstrate Channel Factory's "commitment" to servicing brands and publishers across Europe.
Channel Factory has worked with brands including Sony Universal, Kraft Heinz and Nivea and, according to the agency, the expansion of its leadership team comes in response to a "significant increase" in demand from advertisers to be able to "maximise" brand safety, suitability and performance across YouTube.
