About the role

Contribute to revenue growth across all Mediatel products and provide outstanding client service to subscribers of Mediatel Connected and BRAD.

  • Build and manage the Mediatel sales pipeline by pro-actively finding prospects for products and services through desk research, phone, and events
  • Book sales meetings, manage trials and close sales
  • Ensure BRAD contract renewals are handled in a timely manner and meet cancellation deadlines. Monitor and update BRAD invoice data alongside debt handling
  • Support manager to meet subscription retention targets by sending communications to key contacts throughout the year
  • Provide training and updates to users of Mediatel Connected and BRAD
  • Proactively contribute to marketing and client communications
  • Provide platform feedback to product managers and log tickets when necessary
  • Manage the correct level of platform access for clients
  • Ensure helpdesk and training queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively alongside other members of the client service team

About you

Commercially minded individual with strong customer service skills and experience of delivering client presentations and training plus:

  • Building a sales pipeline, negotiating and closing sales deals
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritise and problem-solving skills essential
  • Strong communication skills including excellent listening skills
  • A team player
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

About the Role

This is a key role within the business, tasked with building and promoting our event brands and publications. Effectively you will be our "head of audience" - helping to drive delegates to our events (tickets and VIP invites) and building online audiences for The Media Leader and Videonet. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in with fresh ideas and put their own stamp on our products to take them to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall operational planning and delivery of events marketing strategy to an agreed schedule, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
  • Form marketing strategies designed for maximum customer engagement to meet ticket revenue targets
  • Create engaging marketing content utilising key messaging and speakers from the events across all platforms and channels
  • Utilise Hubspot CRM segmentation to action email marketing campaigns
  • Build online communities via our social channels with engaging short-form content and messaging
  • Ensure customer communications and queries received via emails and social media direct messages are monitored and responded to promptly and accurately
  • Manage and assist in the creation and implementation of website communications and content, plus maintaining and updating the event app
  • Work with sales team to make sure all client assets are uploaded to website and other relevant promotional areas
  • Work with the Senior Events Manager to create key marketing messages onsite at venues
  • Working closely with our editorial teams on The Media Leader and Videonet to make sure messages are aligned with the events, and to look at ways it which we can cross-market events and publications

About You

  • Experience in executing event marketing campaigns set to a determined budget
  • A very good understanding of creating and executing email marketing campaigns to segmented audiences
  • Experience in creating successful social media campaigns to build audiences and drive engagement
  • A self-starter who takes responsibility for their targets
  • At least 3 years of successful event marketing management experience
  • Proficiency in marketing and events marketing related tools and analytics
  • Experience and knowledge of Hubspot and Cvent would be an advantage
  • An understanding of social media scheduling and analytics applications
  • Has the energy, drive, and initiative to drive a project to its conclusion

About the Role

This is a key role within the business, tasked with developing and delivering our premium B2B conferences to the high standard that our clients have come to expect. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to put their stamp on a series of events we want to take to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Events to make sure we are on track to deliver the event
  • Cost management responsibility - managing the budget and event costs
  • Schedule and organise both digital, hybrid and in-person events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, and budget)
  • Research venues, suppliers, and contractors, negotiate and hire
  • Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (venue, catering, AV, branding, photographer, videographer, etc)
  • Confident in managing AV and any technical production
  • Liaise with commercial, marketing, design, and content teams to ensure the smooth running of all events
  • Work with commercial team to come up with creative solutions at venues for our clients
  • Manage all pre-event planning, organising speaker and delegate logistics
  • Liaise with sponsors and external clients to successfully deliver event requirements
  • Preparing event documents, e.g., delegate lists, running orders, name badges and signage for the events
  • Preparing and manage the event onsite from start to end, coordinating suppliers, speakers, and staff to ensure that all runs smoothly

About You

  • Accomplished industry professional with excellent knowledge and thorough comprehension of event logistics and management of events
  • At least 3 - 5 year' experience in a large-scale events role, including at least 2 years as the main lead on end-to-end event delivery
  • Flexibility to work to Events schedule including early mornings and late evenings as required and travel internationally on occasions
  • A creative, solution focused individual with the ability to work autonomously and think outside the box to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Able to spot inefficiencies and pro-actively implement new, more sustainable ways of working
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
  • An excellent communicator and strong organisational skills
  • A real people person able to build relationships with ease and a willingness to go out of your way to help your fellow team members succeed
  • Curious with an active interest in monitoring industry trends and other events to inspire new ways to improve our event delivery
  • Experience using Cvent is desirable but not essential

About the role

  • Liaise with media and creative agencies, production houses, sales houses, media owners, broadcasters, digital and programmatic platforms. Incorporating all aspects of client servicing - including setting up and training new companies and users. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with all contacts
  • Responsible for playout process including audio QC, sense testing the copy instructions, checking audio has been sent successfully, troubleshooting when needed
  • Provide day-to-day helpdesk support to clients using Mediatel Audiotrack
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to meet targets set
  • Raise, process and check Audiotrack related invoices daily ensuring invoicing revenue figures are up to date each day. Ensure any outstanding Purchase Orders are chased to ensure prompt invoicing
  • Participate in the specification, design, and testing for Audiotrack new product development and enhancements
  • Monitor Industry news and be aware of any major developments or changes in the Radio/Audio Industry. Create and update reports on Radiocentre scripts, Digital platforms, and trends

About you

  • 1-2 years client service experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Educated to graduate level with GCSEs in Maths and English Language grade C / grade 4 or above
  • Conscientious with strong attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Effective communication skills including excellent listening skills
  • A team player with the ability to learn quickly and to help others in the team
  • A knowledge of the media industry an advantage
  • SQL knowledge is an advantage
  • Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel, is an advantage
