Jane Moore To Join LBC Breakfast Show

Chrysalis Radio has announced Jane Moore, who is best know for her weekly column in The Sun, will co-host the breakfast show when the station relaunches in January.

Moore has 17 years experience in national newspapers and prior to starting her column at The Sun she was women’s editor for the red-top. She has also presented on This Morning and Crimewatch Daily.

Mark Flanningan, managing director of LBC, commented: “Jane is a fantastic signing, with just the right attitude to put LBC 97.3FM on the map.”

Moore added: “Obviously as a journalist I am very interested in current affairs and I think that everyone is entitled to my opinion.”

Chrysalis acquired London News Radio, which encompasses the LBC and NewsDirect radio brands, last month in a bid to strengthen its audience share in the key London market. It has since announced a series of editorial appointments, including Caroline Feraday (see LBC Boosts London Offering With New Signing) and Capital DJ Howard Hughes (see LBC Sets Its Sights On London With New Signing).
